I have been taking photos for over a decade now. As a recent graduate from Chapman University, I have had time to reflect upon the various changes of style, medium, and tendencies of the creative eye. The eye which guides my hobbies, values, and appreciations embedded within life. When showing up to the beach, there is always a gamble between camera or board. For many years it was always camera. Recently, after a handful of trips, with both camera and board, I have decided to place a larger focus on my time with the board. Surfing has opened my eyes to the subtleties and metaphors of ordinary life both by the coast, and closer inland. Over time, subjects, concepts, or ideas become stale and uninteresting. It is important to follow the eye and where it decides to rest. I use this space as a host to archive the years of change and progression that I have had the most pleasure to experience here on 🌎
